The Mosman Junior Football Club and the Willoughby Junior Football Club continue to have a joint venture in place for the U15 age group.

The teams will be known as the Willoughby Mosman Swans.

The JV teams will train and play at a combination of Mosman home grounds (Middle Head Oval) as well as Willoughby’s

Why?

The clubs believe the ability to field between 2 to 3 teams across the divisions in each age group will provide the right levels of competition for the varying levels of talent, and contributes to both clubs objective to maximize the number of juniors playing AFL.

We also believe this joint venture can provide more focused development of our playing group and closer link and pathway into senior AFL football.

Is the joint venture a new club?

No – it is a virtual club for these specific age groups

The JV, its teams and players will be promoted and included in individual Mosman and Willoughby junior football club events as a showcase of our youth talent i.e. all teams and players invited to both presentation days, functions etc
